goggles with a fan??????????

Habervision no-fog

I received mine a few days ago. They claim the battery life is "estimated at 15 hours". Installation was easy enough in my scott goggles. They don't seem to obstruct vision much, maybe the top 10% of the lense. There is an auto setting where it senses humidity and turns on to vent it out. Can't feel any air flow across my eyes. There is a little outside of the goggle coming from the foam above the unit. Just waiting for snow to see if they work.

Please give us a review/report Franz. This lil unit looks awesome for those wet snowy powder days with lots of stucks and workouts. Not too much room on my current goggles for that thing i dont think, but would certainly consider it for my second set of goggles.
thanks buddy

Just received my Habervision goggle fan and it "appeared" to be what I expected. The problem I noticed was the lack of air flow. You can definately hear the fan running, but the air flow is not there. I could not feel any and when put next to a flame (candle) it showed no air movement. I have contacted Habervision but have not received a return message. I don't know if the fan become disconnected from the motor, or what. I am waiting to hear the reply for Habervision. Will keep you posted. Right now, extremely frustrated!:(

Shoot me a PM, I can try and help you out. The one I have does not have a lot of airflow, but I think since it kicks on before you have a problem with fogging, it will still work.

smith makes a set called the turbofan i believe. i have heard they are unreliable. for your money, I would buy a good solution to put on the lens itself. most sporting good stores will have something in their ski section or rifle optics section.

Who did you hear that the Smith's where unreliable from? I used a pair all last year and they where great. Now you have heard that they are great. If you do not have a first hand opinion about a subject it might be better if you did not comment, but that is after all only my opinion.
