Goggle Options

Bingo....

My opinion? There is no goggle anywhere that is worth $125.00 to $180.00. Somebody's is making bank on them if the price is that high! Price 'em right and you will have a convert... :)

Cheers!!

Perfectly said! I couldn't agree more.......they couldn't cost more then 10.00 to 15.00 a pair to manufacture!

>>>>
I have held them in my hand and I don't care what you or any other advertiser says or theorizes there is NO WAY your goggles compared to Haber googles are worth 50.00 more , and that's "WITH OUT" polarized lenses....add another 40.00 and your at 90.00 more for your goggles polarized.....YEAH RIGHT!
Like I stated in the previos post.... Haber vision can sell polarized goggles for 75.00 a pair and "MAKE MONEY" then you damn sure can! Anything over that is simply profit.....flame on with excuses but the simple fact is I can buy two polarized pairs of Habervision goggles for less then one pair of 509 goggles with polarized lenses.....who do you think I will go with?
NOW for you other advertising POSERS//////milehigh or low....this is a post about user reviews of goggles not a post for any of you to push the brand your selling! Of course your biased to that particular brand....DUH.
Not trying to rain on anyones parade but let's keep it REAL folks.....Haber's fan works but not for powder riding...get a clue if you can't accept that, 509 makes nice goggles but for the price they are not the bomb and there are better goggles for A LOT less money....if you personally like them then you buy what you like but the truth is polarized is best for low light and Haber has them the cheapest...BY FAR! Zeal and 509 with polarized lenses are 180.00+ EACH and Haber is 75.00.....due the math!
FLAME ON bittcchheess.......LOL....cheers.....:D
I am glad you like your Habers!

I am obviously going to push my brand because I believe we have the best goggles available for the price. I wore HaberVision for several years before getting involved with sales. Sorry if I am trying to provide people with the best goggles for the $$$. I have also tried to help with other issues people are having with hints on how to avoid fogging on any goggle.

To each his own. I'm glad you like your Habers.

I'm the owner of 509 and stand behind my product 100%. I'm not an affiliate, salesman or otherwise. We are also a snowmobile company, through and through. Not a cross over by any means.

509 Sinisters are a snowmobile specific goggle backed with a lifetime warranty. Every feature you see on the goggles is tailored for a sledder. Oversized foam, thicker foam, hinged strap, large removable nosemask, etc. You don't see all these features combined on any other goggle.

There's a reason many big names in the industry ride with 509's....

509 Films
Team Thunderstruck
Joe Parsons
Brett Turcotte
Sam Rogers
Leighton Motorsports
Judnick Racing
Rob Alford

And many more. Including some of the biggest names in the sport switching over very soon!

So, options are great. More brands, the better end product for the consumer. I'm sure Habers are a very nice goggle, as are many other brands.

Well I have to give you props for keeping it cool and not taking my post personal...a lot of guys couldn't handle this....I did hammer you pretty good but not as a personal attack by any means. I have a pair of your goggles and they are nice, like I said before, but no matter how nice they are man the bottom line is they are NOT that expensive an item to manufacture and if they were offered for 125.00 with polarized goggles you'd STILL be making money and all of us Haber google wearing guys would probably switch brands! Is it better to sell higher volume for a little less or lower volume for a little more....numbers make profit!
I did say in the initial post Haber goggles aren't the best quality over all....not a BAD thing but a true observation and honest observation! 509 goggles are better quality goggle I agree 100% but not 110.00 better ! That would be with the polarized lenses....50.00 better sure I'd swallow my pride and would go for that and buy them, but not for the inflated price once you have to buy seperate lenses! Better quality could not cost no where near 50.00 per PAIR of goggles to make, so you would still be making a nice profit no doubt!
How about a group buy with the new Aviator goggles and they come with the polarized lenses for $140.00 shipped, I bet there would be 25 of us willing to order a pair now.... Snowest group buy....or a Totallyamaha group buy? We like quality products or wouldn't ride the heavier Yamaha's....LOL, but we aren't going to bend over.
Regardless of the out come I have to say I appreciate your spirit and ability to keep this on a non personal level.....it won't be forgotten!
cheers.....:D

I cant believe nobody mentioned the smith phenom turbo fan series. Big $$ but whats price do you put on comfort...just my .02:beer;

Unfortunately we don't have polarized lenses for the aviators this season. Aviators are a different animal all together. They are no doubt a high end, high dollar goggle. Take the strap for example. They have a real leather patch with a chrome 3d medal emblem. They aren't intended to be your everyday $50 goggle. Will these be our best seller? No. And we don't want them to be. They more of an exclusive specialty item.

Now the sinisters, you can get with a chrome/yellow lens and extra polarized for $115. Or if you are in the market for a helmet and purchase the combo they are only $90 with polarized.

I want a pair with the polarized lens' and I can do without the chrome/yellow lens as I've already got a pair of goggles with 2 different lens'. Why don't you offer the Sinisters with just the polarized lens' and help folks save a little bit of green?

i carry 3 different sets when i ride
2 of them are scotts w/ fans ( 2 different generations )
and a pr of bolle's as a third option.
i have used all different color lenses,none polarized though.
so far i just haven't found a goggles that performs in flat light, and doesn't fog too bad in the wet snow conditions i normally ride.

well i just got back from a trip to revy and decided a new pair were in order.
before reading this thread, i had just went to haber's web site, and ordered a
pr of their high line goggles w/ the polarized lens's and added the fan.they were a bit spendy, but i don't think overly so.i have never been one to bash
products or company's in a public forum although a few have deserved it imo.

anyhow, on the flip side when i find a product that preforms to my expectations, i will let everyone know.that being said, i hope in end up chiming in to this thread after using these goggles.....mm:beer;

Zeal - enough said.

Zeal goggles are polarized and photochromatic. The inner lens is infused with an anti-fog agent, so it never rubs or wipes off. I tried other brands and once I used Zeals I liked them so much I started selling them.

I don't sell them,(although I tried to get a distributorship in Canada)... but they are the BEST goggle I've used to date - and I have a s#itload of other brands (Spy, Pro-Grip, Oakley, Scott, Smith,etc) in my goggle collection. The only time the Zeals are not great is in low light / whiteout conditions - but they do NOT fog.

I was not happy with my zeal's at all. They are extremely dark and you cant use them at all at night or low light. They do not fit in a helemt worth a chit and seemed to sit very low on my face, pluse the cost a pile of $$$$, big wast of money in my opion. If you going to spend that kink of money get some okleys with the high intenstity yellow, best low light goggle ive used.

I got one of the habervision fans.Works well,the door for the battery is kinda chineesy and the little switch thingy keeps falling out inside the goggles though.It is a good idea.:beer;:beer;

How long ago did you buy these? What color is the little metal screw thing on the Eliminator? Is it attached to the piece that goes on the outside or are they seperate?

I ask because some of our early versions did have the switch problem. PM me if it is a big enough problem for you and I can probably get it swapped out for you.

I have the Haber Eliminator in a pair of Scott 89 XI's it works but the one thing I noticed was a little modification to the goggle itself. Now on top of the goggle where you see the inlet or outlet unsure which of the eliminator when you put your helmet on and goggles on look in a mirror. if you can't see that little piece of blue of the eliminator it's not going to work well. Kind of like wrapping duct tape over the intake of your sled or the old banana in the tail pipe air in air out. On my Scotts there is a decorative plastic deflector piece at the top that has a bunch of slot's in it I got a razor blade out and opened those slots up an wouldn't ya know the fan works a lot better. Sounds weird but when buying goggles take your helmet with you and try them on. Make sure the top vent fan or no fan isn't slammed into the top opening of the helmet fan or no fan like I said air in air out. I just bought a pair of Prima's from Haber and a new eliminator can't wait. My buddy just bought a pair on the christmas blow out sale at habor which I missed by a week and think's they are the best he has riddin with. I'm not partial or being paid by Haber or a dealer I like to support the local community Haber's a Colorado company so they get my business. My old eliminator is probably going bad it keeps gaining rpm and loosing rpm after it's been on a while with new or old batteries. oh well my $.02

G-Dub,

contact me or Habervision's customer service department about your Eliminator that is acting up. We can get it swapped out for you!

The blue piece on top is designed to create some space between the goggle and your helmet. You are correct that you want a little bit of a gap between the helmet and the top of your goggles. If they fit right against each other it prevent air from leaving the goggles.
