Habervision has been hard at work for a long time developing the Eliminator for the Motorsports arena. To refer to the Eliminator as a Yuppie Skier Fan module is not really fair.
In fact you'll find shortly that is a ‘Product of The Year’ in the December 2009 issue of "Dirt Bike Magazine".

LOL.....to each his own

Product of the year or not I already know a dozen or more yuppie skiers who are wearing them and think they are "the bomb". Try them while riding in real powder for more then a few minutes....THEY DON'T WORK! It's simple physics man, you can't get rid of that much moisture....they are designed for mild fogging and moisture not powder riding! Hence the Yuppie skier comment...."like riding down nicely groomed slopes with all the latest and greatest products of the year".....LOL. I like their goggles but won't waste my money on a miniature fan when I know from experience it simply won't move enough air! Life aint fair!

I think you have a mis-conception of them. One of my friends started using them and he skis a good 130+ days a year. He likes them because they prevent fogging when he is on the lift. While skiing fogging is not a problem because you are moving. The same is true with snowmobiling. Fog is typically a problem when you stop. While moving, you have good airflow to prevent the fog.

That Habervision Eliminator fan is no good. It doesn't blow or suck anything. Just makes noise.

Any goggle can technically work with quick straps, you just have to cut the new strap and feed it into the quick strap ends. It works fine for every goggle I've bought.

As for brand; SPY Omega and Soldiers are the cats ***.

Hi 06-800RR

We have been in touch with Milehighassassin and Habervision and it is very important to all of us that you are happy with your Eliminator. Since we are a Canadian dealer we will ship you out the new one to avoid the whole Canada Customs hassle. Please pm me your address and we will get it out to you right away.

It is our hope that this new Eliminator will work to your satisfaction, please keep us posted with the results!

Dan Gardiner says.....

The quality of HaberVision goggles and sunglasses are top of the line.
One product that I believe will be very successful with snowmobilers is
the Haber Eliminator. I have yet to find a goggle that does not
consistently fog and I've ridden with every major brand. The Haber
Eliminator is the first practical solution I have seen to this problem.
The Eliminator is incredibly sleek and lightweight, it is not even
noticeable inside a set of goggles. - Dan Gardiner, Extreme Snowmobiler

Zeal

Zeal goggles are polarized and photochromatic. The inner lens is infused with an anti-fog agent, so it never rubs or wipes off. I tried other brands and once I used Zeals I liked them so much I started selling them.

habervision all the way! Bought a set for my brother and sister in law for christmas last year, then had to buy a set for myself soon after. Went through milehighassasin. Flat light is no longer a problem for sledding and skiing and now looking at them for new sunglasses.

I'm glad you like your goggles! I think once people try them they realize how great our optics are. We are an OPTICS company first and foremost. Then when you compare the price of our goggles to other companies polarized lenses you see how economically priced we are!

For glasses I personally wear the Magnum, Nice, the Bellagio and another model that has been replaced now.

HaberVision Sunglasses

For those that are looking for an Rx we have a great new lab. Sunglasses are priced great, we GIVE YOU a free frame when you order your lenses through us. Pricing starts at $125 (yes FULL Rx) and we have options for polarization (obviously) bifocal, and photo-chromatic. Max pricing for a fully loaded setup is $225. Turn around is 7-10 Business days but the last set I ordered came in 5 days!

I've been using an older pair of the 509 Sinister and the Scott Voltage X. Except when it is very warm, I prefer the scotts. The 509's don't seal well for me and leave too much exposed skin. Although, it looks like they have redesigned them with more coverage, so they may be better now. I like the fit, comfort and protection of the Scotts, I didn't have much of a fogging issue with them either. I always take 2 pair and switch between them to keep them dry. I'm interested in the Habervision or the new 509's.

I see the Sinister's now have polarized lenses available separately. Are they going to start selling the Sinister goggles with polarized lenses already installed so you don't have to buy both?

Has anyone tried the Habervision MXT Eliminator goggles? What did you think?

I also started wearing a Klim f4 helmet as soon as they came out, and that really helped my fogging issues by keeping my head better ventillated.

I'll take my sales hat off for a second here. I originally bought a pair of MXT goggles and a Eliminator as I was curious about the fan. I'm one of those guys that required the neoprene no fog mask to be able to ride with goggles even in warm weather. I found that the Eliminator worked really well, the mask was no longer required. I run mine in auto all the time and what I notice is that a bit of fog will appear and then its gone. I cannot hear or tell by vibration when the fan is kicking on and off. The only way I know is when the fog appears and then disappears. I was also really impressed with the quality of the goggles. I found with my Smith and Scott goggles I was replacing lenses on a monthly basis due to scratches, etc. So far that has not been an issue with the MXT's. Based on my experience with the Habervision product we then decided to add Habervision to our line of products we carry.

We addressed this issue and as you now see the new 509 Sinisters have the oversized foam and removable nosemask. This essentially eliminates any cold weather issue that was present on the previous model.

Couple things to look for when choosing a snowmobile specific goggle...

1) Oversized foam.
2) Removable (large) nosemask
3) Hinged strap mount system

Yes, we do have polarized, however they will not be offered standard as it would drive up the goggle price point. So they are offered at $39.95 for the lens.

And honestly, if you ever have the chance, hold a set of 509's in one hand and virtually any other brand in the other and compare the overall quality. I'm very confident you'll choose 509s.

"OAKLEY" A FRAME, CROWBAR, STOCKHOLM, ETC ETC... All are top notch!!!! Just had to chime in... I'm fog free 99% of the time the other 1% is opperator error.

New 509 helmet matched with 509 goggles with the polarized lens...incredible combo! Tom hit a homerun.

LMAO...."price point"

I have held them in my hand and I don't care what you or any other advertiser says or theorizes there is NO WAY your goggles compared to Haber googles are worth 50.00 more , and that's "WITH OUT" polarized lenses....add another 40.00 and your at 90.00 more for your goggles polarized.....YEAH RIGHT!
Like I stated in the previos post.... Haber vision can sell polarized goggles for 75.00 a pair and "MAKE MONEY" then you damn sure can! Anything over that is simply profit.....flame on with excuses but the simple fact is I can buy two polarized pairs of Habervision goggles for less then one pair of 509 goggles with polarized lenses.....who do you think I will go with?
NOW for you other advertising POSERS//////milehigh or low....this is a post about user reviews of goggles not a post for any of you to push the brand your selling! Of course your biased to that particular brand....DUH.
Not trying to rain on anyones parade but let's keep it REAL folks.....Haber's fan works but not for powder riding...get a clue if you can't accept that, 509 makes nice goggles but for the price they are not the bomb and there are better goggles for A LOT less money....if you personally like them then you buy what you like but the truth is polarized is best for low light and Haber has them the cheapest...BY FAR! Zeal and 509 with polarized lenses are 180.00+ EACH and Haber is 75.00.....due the math!
FLAME ON bittcchheess.......LOL....cheers.....:D

Got three sets last week that I've ordered to some other people, and I regret that I didn't order to myself.... Excellent quality if you ask me

My opinion? There is no goggle anywhere that is worth $125.00 to $180.00. Somebody's is making bank on them if the price is that high! Price 'em right and you will have a convert... :)

Cheers!!
