Idea 1 - point it at your friends, have them ride towards you, at you, away from you.. the fish eyes are so killer on drive by's, u can get super close and capture a super rad image with these things..

Yeah they do get a really nice wide image. Thats a pretty cool idea.

You guys should try using vimeo.com for hd videos. The picture quality is WAY better than youtube.

i use youtube and vimeo..
most forums haven't added the embed properties yet to embed vimeo like youtube.. i prefer vimeo.. but for easy embedding on forums. youtube is the key..

here's a vid i put together from last weekend..
we used 1 GoPro and 1 ContourHD and its all point and shoot. no POV.. we even have a couple shots with a contour mounted on tripod..
these things are great HD cams for closer shots when used right..
sorry its mostly snowboarding.. couple sled clips..
