Glove Recommendation

Another vote for true adventure powder storm. I have 2 sets and rarely need the second. I tore up many pairs of cheap gloves and even some not so cheap(Yamaha). To be fair, I haven't tried Klim or RU outside. The RU outside boots I would recommend also. One friend whose hand get cold very easy did not like the true adventure gloves, but everyone else I sent to them has.

I went into REI today looking for a repair kit and they said to bring them in for an exchange. That is what I will do later this week :D I don't really like shopping there but I can't beat that warranty.

I agree. No need to have 5 pairs of gloves you don't like in your closet. No matter how old they are, if you don't like the gloves for any reason REI will take them back.

My favorite gloves are made by Marmot and are half mittens/half gloves. The index finger was seperate for dexterity. On cold days I'd wear a glove liner and on warmer days just the shell with handle bar warmers. I'm suprised they never really caught on. I always thought they were the best of both worlds, dexterity+warmth.

Got back from my first weekend trying out the TNAs. Not impressed at all! I cant believe how much water those things hold! I got to the cabin halfway through the day to thaw them out. They wieghed about 3 pounds each with all of the snow and ice stuck to them. Warmed them up and wrung about a cup of water out of each glove.

For the price of these things they should be at least a little waterproof shouldnt they?

Like most leather products, the TNA's completely benefit from a nice coating of Sno-seal. I do this to mine each season and they work great.

I just got my lizard skins gloves in yesterday and they are a great glove. I love mine. I also have the pinnacle glove from Cabelas for the colder temps and they work great also.

were your hands wet and pruned or just the fabric?

Good gloves

I give one vote to Scott Finn ice gloves. I rode 2 days a go in 15 degrees without grip warmers. After 2 seasons I am a big fan. My 2 cents.
