Global warming?? Wheres my coat?

I'm liking this Global warming thing...... hope it continues into the winter!!!

Cool, good moisture, all summer so far. I don't think we've seen a day over 100 yet and typically we've had a week or 2 of it so far and hardly any rain in July. I can't remember mowing my lawn as much I have this year, especially in July.

We had 2 or 3 100+ degree days here in NM in the month of july and hardly any over 90 in june . 100 deg. or better is common place on any normal year from mid May/early June through mid August. Its been a great summer !!

Mmmmmmmmm, July 31 in the Black Hills, feels like October tonight, possibly below freezing by morning up at Deerfield Lake, I better get at my off season maintenance.

Yeah, this is the second year in a row we've had a crappy hay crop because the springs have been so cold. In fact just a couple weeks ago we were out changing irrigation pipes in the evening and it was 58 degrees!

There is still snow on top of the Bitterroot mountains as we look outside our windows.

me 2! im in the Aberdeen area and we havent had a day over 100 and very few even in the 90's which is extremely uncommon. Im lovin the rain, i mow lawns for a summer job! and this is by far the busiest ive been in the past 4 years.

We've been chasing the 100* mark for the past 3 weeks... it does get hot here in the summer time, but not usually till the middle of August for about 1 week. We've been running 10-15* above normal since April:eek::mad::mad::mad:

Consider yourselves lucky if your at or below your daytime average high temps

We also had about 3-5 ft less snowpack this yr at our peak time than we did last year, and decent spring riding ended earlier as well:mad::(

Your hot weather has moved to Washington. The west siders are even buying air conditioners. I wonder what they are going to do with them in a couple days when the temps drop back to normal. The air conditioner sales people are enjoying it anyway.

denver set a new record.
Coldest HIGH temp in a 100 years.
68.
It snowed in the mountains.
Not much, but still, snow in july is good.

Temps are all over the place. The so-called experts are just pulling a S.W.A.G. Scientific Wild Azz Guess! That and it's great for the Green movement and the money making opportunities that come with it.

No kidding! Last winter was the coldest here in years and now we just set a new all time high temp 2 days ago. Go figure. Them scientists better get a better box of crackerjacks to pick their forecasts from!

It has been cool in ND all summer, had the longest and coldest winter I have seen. Set snow records with 100+inchs in places. Right now is one of the warmest months for us and it is only 65F out. Global Warming at its best.

You all are talking about regional warming, and cooling, not global.

Educate yourself about the theory before you comment....This thread just makes us sledders look like uneducated retards.

oh, you mean like Japan calling the whole thing just media indused hype and they would have nothing more to do with it.

Or

Australia who has pointed out that Al Gore and the global warming nuts are full of chit and the south pole ice is growing, and growing at an alarming rate.

or

New data from four major global temperature tracking outlets show that world temperatures last year dropped .75 degrees Celsius, large enough to wipe out virtually an entire century of warming.

I can go on and on and on with scientist from all over the world pointing out that Al Gore is a moron and his followers no better.

Quesiton for you MARCUSO.
If Co2 is the cause of global warming and Co2 levels have continued to rise, why have global temps fallen??

well yep your right...but regions that are differant end up being global eventually...the retards are the experts that appear to be educated...they all have access to the same information...they are all experts...they all have different conclusions...???....so we are just as expert as they..and they are just as retarded as us..:p

If our comments make us look like retards than what does that say about many of yours? A-hole ?

People are simply citing there observations an the fact that I does not seem to support the "theory" and neither does the evidence ! I think thats all people are trying to say.

I also believe that what we see regionally or locally is in fact part of the global weather pattern since one is the result of the other. Do we understand it ? NOT EVEN CLOSE and i think that is a fact we can agree on .

Oh excuse me for posting on this thread, I was not trying to argue against global warming just commenting on the unusually cool summer we are having but since you brought it up what ever happened to all those dire predictions of a dozen monster hurricanes every year from now on, how many was there last year 1 or 2 average hurricanes and none so far this year hmmmmm, interesting. I guess I would rather be an "uneducated retard sledder" than a so-called expert right now. I used to look up to some politicians, corporate CEO's, scientists and etc because I thought they knew what they were doing and would do what is best for the country but after the last couple years I realized that they do not have a clue and they're just "winging it" hoping to hit it big and cash out.

No kiding ? Thats it I am moving to Japan! I could get used to a country of hard working peeps who still believe in common sense !

it was political correct and most times politically motivated to hype this issue...but even in Canada its slowly falling out of favour with politicians and a majority of the public of being the issue it was in the past once it became apparent that hysteria was a foundation and thrust of a issue that some people had selfish agendas propagating
