Nice pics.
Went riding in the snowies yesterday.
Loaded the sleds up in a snow storm.
As for global cooling.
The scientist are now saying we will be entering a period of global cooling that will last anywhere from 10 years to 23 years depending on which study you want to look at.
The global warming (climate change) crowd have already made a pre-emptive strike by saying that if it wasn't for man made green house gasses the cooling would be much more pronounced and be much better for the world. They also say that because of man's interference the next stage of global warming will be much worse.

its cooling down for sure. +8 today and its june. ice was on the lake the longest in the last 25 years and the snow was earlier and later this year.
Fact: The scientific majority oft quoted consists of scients only from the IPCC. Of the 600 or so scientists in the IPCC less than a quarter are actually climatologists. The rest are economists, political scientists, sociologists etc. 31,000 scientists recently petitioned the government NOT to implement legislation related to global warming.
Fact: Climate has been cooling since 1998 as predicted by scientist familar with the pacific decadal oscillation.
Fact: Most scientist agree that climate models are inadequate. They can't even predict the last ice age.
Fact: Recent climate including the melting of polar icecaps, temperature, etc. have ALL been documented in recent MODERN human history. Similar N. Pole ice melt was documented as recently as the 1940's.
Fact: Temperature rise rates are well within climate history if recent cooling is taken into effect.
Truth of the matter is that the climate is a highly complex, dynamic system. To understand complex systems, viariables have to be isolated. It is hard enough to make subtle changes in a stict lab environment and correlate outcome. It is impossible to do the same to the climate. Therefore, it takes alot of serious math to isolate the contribution to global climate that carbon dioxide makes and separate the effects of things like water vapor, cloud formation, bio systems, geological events, and solar forcing, the list goes on. Math that quite frankly, Al Gore is not smart enough to understand...period...

First question you ask these scientist is, if a 23 year cooling cycle was so obvious, why did your predictions and simulations not account for it, when the orignal report was published? And, what makes you think you are right now?
Second question, since you have acknowledged there are temperature cycles independent of man's input, (ie. a 20 to 46 year cycle), is it possible that there are cycles in top of cycles, say 200 year or 1000 year cycles, that could account for the last 120 years worth of heating. That have nothing to do with man, and what percentage of global warming is attributed to them.
These scientist are idiots. They are looking through a microscope at a mite, and are trying to "calculate" if the mite is on the back of a horse or a dinosaur. They are hundreds of years, from being able to accurately predict the earth's temperature trend. Global warming is a political attempt to gain global control.

The russians are laughing their collective arses off. They are the ones that were calling BS since day one.
So far they have identified at least 8 variations that affect the global temps.

They are also looking at 5 other things, but I can't for the life of me remember what they are.

They just barely put down a new carbon tax.
It would have cost every manufacturere and power station in the country an estimated 1.2 trillion dollars over the next 5 years. It got expensive after that.

Everything you said i've heard before and believe ! The climate change is something that is going to happen and has been happening for thousand's of years but the greenies and our government are trying too make it sound like this is something new. Didn't this kind of thing happen in the fifties when people were building bomb shelter's because they thought the world was going to end !!
