Ghostrider Motorsports in Fernie B.C

You might want to actually check out what their new hours of operation are.
As far as I am concerned, I think they kind of s*ck. Good luck getting anything done on a Monday.

Well, you can all say what you will. A year ago (when I didn't own an AC), we were down sledding in Fernie (one mod Ski Doo and one Yamaha) and I had some trouble with my secondary. They took it apart and had a look, put it back together, cost me $10 and was able to sled the next day. They stayed open about an extra 15-20 mins for me on a Sat afternoon so that I could ride Sunday.

Not their brand, not their problem, but they fixed it up and helped me out anyway when they could have said "you might be able to make it to Mr. R's before midnight, he sells Ski Doo."

That's my story, you can take it for what it's worth.

What are the new hours? Obviously closed Monday I'm assuming from your post. Don't really ride there on the weekdays but it would suck if you were a local and broke something on the weekend, one less day to get it fixed.

Not saying my experience was how it is for everyone.

Yes they are closed Mondays, and lots of people take vacation time to ride in that area, kind of sucks if your broke down and the dealership is closed. I think that a dealer in a destination area like Fernie would be looking at extended hours during prime riding season.
I have had mixed results with service at Ghost Rider. One time we where out and had a starter rope break, I had no tools along to repair so took it to Ghost Rider for a repair. Figured maybe 1/2 hour of work, was told they where to busy to do right away. Three days for them to get it fixed. :(

Not sure what gives, but dealers seem to have poor results in places like,Revy and the Crownest Pass, can't figure it out(maybe an hour of operation thing),good sledding area's,without dealerships,What's up????...As far as different results with different attitudes???Kind of like talking to the payroll lady at work, kiss a$$ and you have a good chance of getting what you want or need, mostly, but not always. But then again, some are better a$$ kissers!

Give Chunks a Try

I will say I have dealt with Ghostrider in the past and have nothing good to say about my experience at all, needless to say I needed to find another place to deal with this season. After doing some research, decided to give Chunks a go. I have been very impressed all round, from purchasing my new sled, ordering parts and just chatting about sleds in general it as been a positive experience and would recommend Chunks to everyone.

Ghostriders

Just wanted to add my 2 cents. Bought a turbo Yamaha Nytro this year from them and have been very happy with the deal , the sled and the service. Do live 6 hours away so I do not use them for service day to day, but would buy again and recommend to anyone. Paul-tells it like it is and Monty is very helpful with parts!!!

Anyone can say what they want about Ghostrider, I'll tell you what I know. They have donated a klim valdez parka for our sno-pitch tourney, they didn't have too and I know that is not the first donation they have made over this tragedy.
I support the businessess that support my community, thanks to Paul, Monty and all the staff at Ghostrider Motorsports.
