Ghostrider Motorsports in Fernie B.C

Will should be a good addition to Precision,I've been dealing with Richard & Trish over the summer and they are new to the dealership game, but they are trying hard to get established,I wish them well. For those of us that know Will,he is just what Precision needed!!!! Lethbridge hasn't had a decent AC dealer ever(sorry Barry)

I found Ghostrider a little pricey on parts and accessories, however they are not pricey enough to force me to drive to Cranbrook for parts. They have always found what I have needed. Expect to pay upfront for all special orders. Have never used their service department.
Check with BSL in Coleman for after market parts. If you are going to Lindernan get there before it starts to snow.

I will agree Linderman is MR. Arctic Cat.

I have delt with Ghoastriders and NEVER had any issues at all. Paul the owner is a stand up guy and Montey is good in parts.

Do yourself a favour and take it to harvey and the boys! Service is second to none and you wont have worry if youre getting fed a line of B.S. or not.

Everyone has an opinion...

I have bought three sleds from Ghostrider in Fernie over a 14 year period and have experienced great service. Not once have I considered buying elsewhere. They turn around my sled in a day whenever I bring it in for repair and the owner and staff are real riders, not posers trying to be cool like some of you fags!

jennjenn & Snowpro are all the staff from chunk on here promoting???;)

If this is true, thats good, that means they are on snowest listening to what sledders are saying. Too many dealers hate the internet and snowest, they dont always want people informed.

hahaha ok ok busted..... i do work here at CHUNK.......but i dont know who Snowpro is.......for sure not staff here.

cant blame a girl for trying right? :p:p

110% though, Arctic Edge (Linderman) is the Cat Performance Professional!!!

I totally agree, monty and paul are kick *** guys and great to talk to and deal with, the problem with ghostrider is the guys in the back! Shady at best and i wouldnt let em touch my lawnmower unless i was there to watch.

Is that my friend Harvey from North Battleford or Biggar or some place close has the OK tire. Harvey is a great guy.:beer;

I have done lots of biz with monte in my experiance he has been really good to me. I can't speak to the service department I have done all my work myself. I think with any dealer doing your own reserch before hand and being informed on the parts you want or the fix you need will help a lot. Jmo

Thanks

I have been a memeber of SnoWest since Feb of this year and have to admit to being pretty green when it comes to forums. This thread came to my attention and I do appreciate all the comments good and bad. Our goal at Ghostrider is to exceed expectations and this is a great tool to assess clients experiences with us.
Monty is our Service Manager and if there are any questions in regard to our service department he will be happy to answer any and all of your questions.

Thanks again

Any sign of snow in Fernie/Corbin area,it better start snowing some,or the Christmas break is going to suck!!!!

I met Paul and Monty a few years ago sledding in Revy....never had bought anything from them, few buddies bought some sleds.....I just purchased a used WR450 over the phone from Paul....Picked it up Saturday....everything that Paul claimed the bike was....it was and more....Bought some parts from Monty..the boys were great to deal with.....Thanks guys.... They have some great deals on bikes....Give Paul a shout 250-423-9251

I got some clutching done at all seasons, and i have to say they seems to know their cats. I have also gone to fernie and had a motor rebuilt there and a couple other things, and i have too say fernie gave me the best info on tuning my king cat.

The guys at All Season are great guys....took my skidoo and yamaha there for a pre-season tuneup...As another mentioned, those guys are riders so if there are issues, chances are pretty good that they experienced it before you did....

We have dealt with both Ghost Rider and Precision. We just actually had a M6 in for service with Precision that we picked up at Ghost Rider.
Ghost Rider really needs to improve their hours of operation.
Anyway the work that was done at Precision was top quality and I cannot say enough about how great the customer service was. They not only stayed late so we could drop the sled off, but also stayed late once again so we could pick the sled up again. I know he rides, has a really nice HCR.
As for Ghost Rider well Monty is Monty, depends on the day of the month it seems, I'm not sure whom the sales guy is now, but we did have a bit of a run around over a sled we tried to consign there.
And my wife also seems to think Paul is kinda good looking or something, not sure what that is all about.

I also wanted to add, we've delt with Chunk as well, but not enough to formulate an opinion one way or another.
Actually most of our parts this year have come from the Arctic Cat / OK Tire dealer in Biggar Sask. They has some really good pricing, well at least early in the year. The only issue is they will only ship DHL which does not do residential delivery. This is an non issue because you can do the hold for pick up thing at the local DHL terminal.

Well, you can all say what you will. A year ago (when I didn't own an AC), we were down sledding in Fernie (one mod Ski Doo and one Yamaha) and I had some trouble with my secondary. They took it apart and had a look, put it back together, cost me $10 and was able to sled the next day. They stayed open about an extra 15-20 mins for me on a Sat afternoon so that I could ride Sunday.

Not their brand, not their problem, but they fixed it up and helped me out anyway when they could have said "you might be able to make it to Mr. R's before midnight, he sells Ski Doo."

That's my story, you can take it for what it's worth.
