Getting a sled out of Hay Days

Like it says, what is the procedure for getting a sled from inside out to the parking lot and trailer?

I'm picking up a sled this weekend and I just want to know what I will have to do to get it loaded.

Do the snobarons cart it out to my trailer? Also what time do they stop doing that at if they do? I have buds who are vending so I plan on staying later to hang out with them after the day is done and I'm not sure how I feel about leaving my new to me sled sitting in a lot for 5 or 6 hours so it would be nice to be able to load it later in the evening.

Do it as early in the day as you can. The line gets pretty long for the service to haul stuff out. Last year there was an area near the mid point of the swap area that you would have to sign up. Good luck.

I'm in no rush to get out, like I said I plan on being awhile and I know I'm probably just being paranoid but I don't like the idea of leaving it in the parking lot on a trailer all day long

ATVAM is contracted out to handle the removal of large items from swap. Saturdays can be pretty busy with a long wait, especially in the afternoon. Sunday's are usually the fastest day to get stuff hauled out. Both main parking lots will have a dropoff spot for snowmobiles and a ramp to load into the back of a pickup, if needed.

Don't even think of trying to ride it out of there (it's attempted many times) or I'll have to crack the whip.:whip:

what is the direction NOT to come into haydays this year? came straight from west last year and that was a mistake.
suggestions?

Might consider #### from the south near Lindstrom. Being a dirt road, it doesn't get the traffic and is sort of 'out of the way' to get to.

Paranoid question but how safe is stuff sitting in the lots all day?

I have the sled all ready and know where in the grounds it will be and don't mind hauling it out to the lot at 10 in the morning. Just get antsy about 60k people in and out all day and my new sled sitting in the parking lot.

After 8yrs of doing this I haven't heard of a sled being stolen in the parking lot, or any other big ticket item.

Yesterday some of the exits off 35 from Wyoming north had signs that they were going to be closed on certain days. The North Branch exit will be open but some of the ones further south may not be. I don't know how long they would be closed or if they will be for sure. Hopefully everything will be open for the weekend otherwise everyone will be forced through North Branch. If you're going to take back roads off 35 be prepared to take a different route if need be.

per MNDOT, those ramps will all be open by Friday.

Last yr I bought a sled from Idaho and had it delivered to Hay Days. I loaded it at probably 11:00am into the back of my pick up and left it there till 6. I locked it into the bed with a cable lock just to be sure, but nobody messed with it that I could tell. You should be fine.

What u getting?
