Has anyone had their gauge quit working was riding the other day and it just quit working tried a hood off another turbo m1100 it wouldn't work either so don't think it's a problem with the actual gauge.

Did you check the fuse? I think the taillights connected to the same fuse not sure about the headlight. Seen it happen to my bros sled.

Check 20A tailight fuse in fusebox mounted on belt guard.
If tailight fuse is blown then most likely it is pinched wiring behind your reverse actuator.
These wires are grounding out on your chaincase.
When I repaired my wires we notched out a section on the chaincase lip so it doesn't happen again.
