Gasket Replacement Question

So I have my Y Pipe Bolts come out of my 06 Summit 800. I'm replaceing them with Nord-Locks and new Y Pipe Gaskets. Do I need to use High Heat Silicone on the gasket or is it not really needed? If so, do I put the silicone on both sides of the gaskets?

don't use high temp silicone. just make sure the surface is clean and dry. use locktight on bolts.

Do NOT use Loc-Tite on the bolts ... that's what the Nord-Locks are for ... use some nickel anti-seize on them and call it good.
