First off you HAVE to pre-pay so I dont mind doing so with a credit card to beat all the b/s....BUT with 3.00 a gallon fuel the bastages have not changed there pump limits and you cant fill your tank with 75 bux!!! you gotta run your card twice!

Got gas the other day, $52.00. Took a fifty and two ones in to pay. Was told they don't take bills larger than a twenty. Either had to leave my truck and walk to the bank for change or pay with a credit card. WTF is wrong with this picture?
I've had that happen as well.... I told the dumb b!tch to go screw a pootch, I wasn't walking across the street.... She threatened to call the cops, and I said go ahead, threw the $50, $5, and 3-$1's and walked out.... Never heard anything about it...
On another occasion, I was at Starbucks, ordered my $5 coffee and tried to pay with a $50, they couldn't accept it, so they gave me the drink free

Yuppers same thing happened to me once...I asked if she had a hose? why she asked...cause you've got three choices, 1 take the money..2 let me have the fuel for free...3 syphon out the fuel. Set my frog skins on the counter and left, never heard a word. Dino
..Pre pays gonna be a LAW in Idaho before summer. I work at a quick stop in I.F.(& hate every fuggin' second of it) & a cop who comes in every morn. said it's all done but the lawyer's paperwork.

I had this happen at the local cop shop. I had to pay a fine so I hauled out a hundred. The gal said she couldn't accept it. I told her to write paid in full on the ticket, When she refused I said to take the money. When I pointed out to her and the supervisor that it said'for all debts, public and private' on the bill and threatened to call the feds they managed to come up with proper change out of their pockets... I would have liked to see cops hauled off by the FBI..
Ditto! I forgot to pay once and the cop came to my house, knowing I just forgot, watched my kid while I went back down and paid. That will never happen in the city!
I forgot to pay once. When I made my next stop I realized I still had the $40 in my pocket.
Went back to the station and apoligized. He told me that he had my plates and info and was giveing me 3 hours to return and pay, then he would call the cops.
Kinda have that small town thing going on here too only one or two stations that ya have to prepay. I avoid them cause its a pain in the Azz. most times i frequent the same stations and there is no problem paying with any size of bill

Fuggin Shell is horrible at this. I put in $20 in fuel once (had a little car with a small tank so $20 was the norm to fill it up) and them fuggers charged me $20 which was fine but also $75 extra till it cleared! WTF is that! Had that chit happen at bennigans once as well. they charged an extra $50 and the worst part is it was when I was like 18 they did it and I had enough to pay for the dinner and about $20 extra bucks in there. I got the overdraft because of it. I flew off the handle on them dinks.
