Gas Mileage when Boosted

I have a delema. This weekend we had neck deep snow at Baker, and my stock Apex could have used quite a few more ponies. I saw 3 turboed apex that were absolutely incredible in the deeeeeep. I would love to turbo my sled for that type of performance, but too afraid that my riding day would be cut short because of running out of fuel. How do you boosted guys deal with having enough gas to ride a full day?

If I'm ripping around on the trails I can get 3 gallons of gas to 45 km.And I don't take it easy on the trails. When I'm riding in the mountains I still have yet to run out.Alls I ever take is an extra 5 gallons and I always took that much when I road my 800 summit.I think that the supercharges are harder on fuel just for the simple fact that they are always under boost.

Gas mileage

Boondocker side mount and I ride with 5 xtra gallons and until it is 3+ ft of snow I was considering going to just 2.5 as I never dumped.
Most days riding with m1000s, ported 800s, 900 xps and other sleds you are equal.
the problem comes when the snow is soo deep you are breaking trail the whole time punched if you arent on the trail. I finally used almost all my gas in one ride under these conditions and the other sleds had to follow or be stuck on the flats.
