Garage heater?

Here is what I have keeping my garage toasty all winter.
I had to mount my heater on the far end of my garage to get proper ventilation for the exhaust stack, so I ended up having to run about 50ft of gas line up from the basement and across the roof of the garage.

Ordered the heater on November 4th and it's not scheduled to be delivered until the 18th! They didn't even process my order until the 10th. Lame!

and I used to think you were a tough guy.

I am tough but a bad azz in a warmer garage. LOL

My garage is stubbed with a gas line but seems to stay around 45 even in the winter. Just right with a couple shop lights on.

Adam,

If you need something warm and cheap We used one of these all season last year it worked awesome. We work out of a storage unit and it keeps us warm.

Well, I got the heater and set it up today. Thanks for all those who gave some support and advice. It was very helpful in making my decision.

It is a wall mount and instead of mounting it to the wall I chose to make a stand for it. That way I can move it around in the garage close to where I am working.

Please ignore the messy garage. I haven't cleaned up after my project yet. (It's not done yet)

Nice set up and hope you stay warm.
Being mobile should help a lot in many situations, like the trailer (like said), different areas of the garage, if the power goes out in the house, porch during spring and fall ect.

I need somthing for my garage. Wher did you get yours? What kind of cost was it?

I have been thinking of going with a pellet stove.

Need to put locking casters on that thing and a rack to mount the tank and you'll be set:face-icon-small-coo

I put heat in my garage a couple of years ago. Here are some pics. The walls are sheet rocked, but no insulation. The ceiling and garage door are insulated. Garage is 20x30 and I can heat it to 80 degrees no problem. We keep it at about 65 in the winter. Tied into the gas line in the garage.

I was hoping you paid that price and that does suck.

I wish I could find where I bought mine. I paid $89 shipped for those same ProCom heaters about 2 years ago. Price was so good I bought 2!
I found the link then from another SW'er!
My garage is 25x30 and that puppy will get it too hot in less than 2 hours.
I find that the propane does get stinky tho, anyone else find this too?
