Furnace Install Question

I apologize if this question has already been asked and answered. Did a search and couldn't find anything.

I have an 18 foot enclosed V-nose. I'm installing a Suburban SF-20 12v furnace.you question is, can this unit be installed on edge flat against the wall opposed to upright suspended from the ceiling or on the floor? Is there any reason I can't do it this way? I will not be putting an enclosure around it so it gets plenty of return air.

Yes you can install a Suburban SF furnace vertical or horizontal.
Mine is installed vertically and have had no problems with it done that way.

Cool. Thanks. Yeah that's what I ended up doing today. Works great! My trailer is fairly small so I'm not ducting anything. Just leaving it open with 4 punch outs. Stoked to camp in it this winter

Glad the information helped you out. You will find that your trailer will most likely heat up faster w/o the ducting.
