Frost Bite

anyone know situation riding out of nobletts parking lot? not way familiar with location names.

Center Creek is in the middle of Lake Creek and Daniels Canyon. It is not maintained ( not groomed) and I dont even think the road/trail is marked. Center Creek comes out right on top of Tower Mtn.

Here's a couple pictures of "goofy looken frost bite".

About 38 hours since I was bitten.

Peace Out,

Johnny

Jhonny: DO NOT PEEL THE SKIN as adviced in this thread, I've gotten frostbites a coupple of times and one time really bad on all of my fingers, and I'm still after ten years fealing the effects. For the areas in your face use room tempered olive oil, cheap and effective. This will allow the natural fat in the skin to repair the area faster. You will most sertain feel cold much quicker in those spots and if you're as unlucky as me it will create air filled blisters when it gets to cold. Use cold cream and neoprene from now on;)

Wow, sound's like you had some severe frost bite.

I'm hopen mine will be more of a frost nip!

I've been using some Antibiotic Ointment, and it seems to be working ok.

My face is not as numb today as yesterday, and I'll definitely cover up better from now on!

Peace Out,

Johnny

Hahahaha...this remembers me of the slogan we used when I worked in the airforce infantry here in Norway: Pain is temporarily, Honor and glory is forever....and chicks dig scars:D
It's through the srvice I've gotten mine frostbites and as I stated earlier you have to keep the skin soft and slightly moist to minimise the damage, gently massage in the cream you use and ceep warm;)

I found a way too "cover up" the frost-nip look. Its a good thing the masking tape blends so well with my skin tone otherwise I might look a little "Goofy".
