I should have gotten this out earlier but I've been busy.
2nd Annual Family Fun Winterefest at 4 Eagle Ranch on hwy 131 4 miles north of Wolcott. Fun starts on Saturday February 5th at 10am and goes until 2pm. Put on by 4 Eagle Ranch, Sage Outdoor Adventures and the Holy Cross Powder Hounds.
Free rental sleds, snowshoeing, tubing, Segway's (yep, those funny looking things with two wheels) and good times. Great time to bring some people interested in riding sleds for the first time. Not a lot of snow, but enough to get some friends interested in riding. We will also be pulling people in whitewater rafts which I've been told is a hoot. Segway's are for cruising around the ranch and there will be warm buildings and food available for purchase.
We will have two obstacle courses for the rental sleds with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes. (watchu got?)
In an area where so many people bash snowmobiling, we are reaching out to people to let them know how much fun this sport is. Maybe we will introduce some new peeps to snowmobile payments!
Great time to bring family and friends and have a relaxing day. Temps are supposed to be in the mid to high 30's.
