Forward Steering post???

Gonna put a Wildchild forward post on my 04 1m 900 EFI. Before I order it would like some opinions on whether or not it's worth it to get some extra length or just put a riser on after the fact. right now i've got a Ole's 2" with the 6 hole plate and it's not quite tall enough. just for reference I'm about 6'2". thanks

I ordered mine 3 inches longer and I wish I would have gone stock height. I'm about 6'1 but its just a touch too tall. Without the extra height you can add in different risers to get a perfect match for your riding style and height.

I did the CR Racing route and my handlebars are 37" from the footrest. I'm 5' 8" if I'm lucky and 200lbs. One of the best bangs for your buck on these sleds.

WHen I built mine, I made it as low as possible, then added a 10" riser. Risers are stronger than post shaft, so more riser and less shaft is stronger.
