I wanted to do the Valdez ride last year and missed it because of work not VDay! I'd rather ride ~ what better way to celebrate ANY holiday??!! My schedule has a LOT more flex this year ~ so I really want to try to catch ALL of the 4M rides ~ the last one I managed to do was Eureka in 07 (plus a few smaller scale impromptu 4M rides)

Man I almost forgot. I don't have to be within an hours reach of my prego wife this year! So I might be-able to travel more this season?

As long as everything gets planned around my week off! sounds good to me right?

The Valdez forum ride was a good one, special thanks to Spook for being the guide. A lot of people bailed on that ride due to it being on Valentines day weekend, but a lot of the locals showed up so it worked out well. I would like to see another valdez forum ride happen on Hillclimb weekend.

Hope to see you again this season. Its kinda hard for me to do a 4m ride on the hillclimb weekend unless people stay until Monday. I plan on racing this year again (if the old iron holds up?) I gotta make it last one more year.

We need to keep in touch and plan in advance as much as possible.

i would be into P-ville maybe. Can I get nitrous anyplace close?

P-ville is a great place for a 4M ride, you can find some riding for all abilities there. There's even some small hills that I can get over! Im not sure where the closest place to get nitrous is...but I'll try to find out for ya!

Peoples ... come on now, cant plan a ride prior to the white stuff ... the snow dictates the place!!! I hope the difficult part will be deciding where ... cuz that means theres deep pow pow everywhere!

I was actually thinking Thursday would be a good day since everyone is usually there by then, especially if it starts later in the day... Usually everyone is out of the parking lot come Sunday morning, including myself. A couple of us forum members including Dash, and Akm8, had a awesome ride down there, although we pretty much missed all the racing that day.

I am just waiting for somebody on here to put his .02 in.... he and another guy followed me uphill before the hillclimb when they could not see a thing due to a flat light. So they stayed close to me and just hoped that I would not speed away Why they blindly trusted and followed a woman is still beyond me

Very true! maybe we can at least decide on good 4M type ride locations and let the conditions dictate when we hit those locations?
