It snowed the entire time. Friday on RE was 8-10" fresh on a super hard base. Buff was way better with reports of 24-30" and epic.

Saturday was more of the same with a little softer base and a tad more fresh. Visibility was poor. A rider in our group snapped a steering post, ending the day. After the "other" group vacated the SLO lodge, we started the raffle about 9pm. Even with the smaller turnout of Forum riders we managed to raise $1850 for the Blue Ribbon Coalition. I hope that next year is better. There were a pile of cancellations and no-shows or we would have hit the $3000 mark that I was hoping for. All in all, I thought we did great.

Sunday was snowing and flat light but the snow where we headed was fresh, deep and awesome! You can't ask for better snow. 24-30" fresh with a perfect base. Made steep climbs at WOT through the trees a blast! You had to try super hard to get stuck. The end of the day soured a tad with whiteout conditions but all turned out great.

Monday was travel home day. Some rode RE and said that is was super.

Very sorry to hear about your daughter. Prayers for a speedy and comfortable recovery for her.

Sam

thanks for the well wishes....she is a little trooper!

They massaged the bones into place without surgery....by chance one of the best pediatric ortho's was on duty (her one day a week at this location).

Fingers crossed it all takes properly.

She is all smiles though....even caught her climbing on the playground at school today.

Nice work. The powder and big trees in CA look awesome. Thanks for sharing.
