So we're heading to the summit at the end of June....

Got the team of 5 ready to go... Spending a lot of time working with ropes and harnesses and such... The last two Sunday's we've hiked up to Camp Muir just to work out the bugs with our equipment and make sure everyone has their sh!t together.

Graveler is getting ready...

It's still snow right from the parking lot all the way up. Spring snow is rather soft...

First stop was at 6800'

Awesome pictures!! Good luck on making it up to the top. I would be giving up and bit(hin somewhere 100yds or so from the parking lot, although that tobaggan run Gravy is on looks fun. I've done Si a few times and prefer the sled or bike option....so the top of baker will be the only peak I've been to for the big one's....

Nice pics guys... I summited Rainier about 12 years ago and it was a great time!!! There nothing like hiking to Muir and then having to get up at midnight/1:00 am to take off for you summit approach!!! YEE HAA!!!

Food tip- There is nothing better then having some cold left over pizza and beer up on the mountain when you make the summit...

let me just say that as the air gets thiner the crying gets louder!!!!

to start he cant figure out how to put on his Gators!!!! from there people it only gets worse,,,, much worse

here he is trying to take a self-portrait because I refused!!!!! keep in mind he has been asking all day to take his picture!!!!

two hours into this ordeal and he figures out the phone doesn't work and he cant receive his latest rep report!!!!!

as he nears exhaustion he realizes that the snow has disappeared and I have to remind him that its rock and no its not soft and fluffy!!!!!

after reaching Camp Muir Fordman wonders WTF am I doing up here without my sled!!!!!!!

And Finally I agree to take his picture only because he is driving, buying the fuel and the annual pass to the park!!!!

but my reward is knowing that after pulling my boots off I don't need skin graphs from my As* at the end of the day,,,on both feet
