Fogging a PRO for summer.

I guess I'll be the obligatory "you don't need to do that" guy. I have been riding sleds for roughly 22 years. I've never blown up a sled, and never been towed. I have also never fogged a sled. I used to run them out of gas but that doesn't work anymore, so I just mix some Sta-bil in and run them for awhile. I probably should go knock on some wood. :D

My Assault is at 2,457 miles right now.
 
Gas has, and continues to, radically change... Stabil does not cut it in an oxygen rich gasoline.... ethanol-free "pump" gas still has oxygenates in it.... that really shortens the life of the gas.

As for the fogging... it does give the best protection for the inside of the motor... premix only coats makes it's way into the top end.. and synths run off the parts inside quickly and pool in the crankcase.

my self and my dad have done the same and got some big miles out of some normally quick to blow motors.

knock on wood hahah.

we pour the gas out, put a bit of fresh with sta-bil and run them for a few minutes
