FLU Shot Gone Wrong, Play the lottery if you like

I will not be getting either flu shot. Every time you turn on the TV you see commercials for drug lawsuits. lots of them! These drugs where all "approved" by the same people who approve theses vaccines. Whats even better is they even admit there is a risk with vaccines right up front unlike most of the other drugs that were considered safe and end up causing all sorts of problems. I dont believe anyone really knows with any real certainty what these drugs will do. If you all want to be the goverments guinea pig more power to ya but I think I will pass. I see this as a part of natural selection "a little bleach for the gene pool " this is natuers way and we should leave it alone IMO.

I do belive that as a function of evolution or whatever you want to call it that by introducing vaccinations it encourages the virus to mutate into a potentially more dangerous strain. Seems like a double edged sword to me!

'Anti-swine flu' business suit

TOKYO - A JAPANESE menswear company has begun selling an 'anti-swine flu' business suit that it says can reduce the risk of catching the virus.

The wool suit is coated with titanium dioxide, which breaks down the virus molecules on contact under ultraviolet light, Haruyama Trading Co said.

The material, which can also reduce odours such as cigarette smoke, will keep its anti-virus properties even after being dry cleaned more than 20 times, the company said.

It will go on sale at 272 stores across Japan on Saturday, with a price tag of 52,290 yen (S$820), following its launch in Tokyo on Thursday, said company spokesman Ryugo Yamamoto.

Japanese people are known for being extremely hygiene-conscious, with thousands of people on the street wearing masks when the first Japanese victims tested positive for swine flu in May.

Students and even adult workers are instructed how to effectively wash their hands and gargle, while antibacterial goods ranging from men's socks to a computer mouse are also popular. -- AFP

Hurry up & get yours or not

Congressman Ron Paul has questioned why, despite his efforts to encourage the general public to get vaccinated against the H1N1 virus, President Barack Obama has refused to allow his own daughters to take the swine flu shot.

Despite the fact that Obama on Friday declared a national emergency in response to the H1N1 outbreak, he apparently doesn’t deem it enough of a threat to have his two daughters vaccinated against the virus.

As it turned out I couldn't Have gotten the swine flu shot here if I had wanted to and yesterday I came down with swine flu. Once I got past the headaches and mild fever and then the diarrhea, my only problem is that I can't stay awake. Truthfully I have had a lot more trouble on sunday mornings in my younger days. Bo is highly over rating it of course.

I was lucky when I was five years old I was given the normal vaccinations of the day at noon and by 5 oclock I was in bed shiverring with an extremely high temperature, I do remember what I guess halucinating as I was seeing things I could not even understand, my parents immediately got me to the base dispensery where I basically lost conciousness and woke up a day later hardly able to even walk. I had apparantly had a reaction to the vaccines and the doctors were amazed I came out in such good shape. Because of that situation and the fact that I was a Navy brat I was allways within the mlitary medical jurisdiction and was never vaccinated again, I even was refused entry into the Navy after graduation from high school and was allways 4F on the draft. I still remember that day and how scared I was with the crazy things I apparantly was dreaming or ?. Sewampy:eek:

Free Country!

Not free for long in Bs Bo's vision.

I have the swine flu alright. I am good today but as predicted it has settled in my chest, but it isn't going to be a problem, humidifiers seem to take care of it. I am definitely glad I didn't get the shot.
Bo is in Japan running off at the mouth at the moment, my arm is tired from saluting him on TV.
