First trip to big horns - rental avy beacons?

Making first trip out to big horns on Januray 12-15 and staying at elk view inn. Three of guys coming with is first time to mountains and they need beacons. Is there a place to rent avy beacons for a couple of days for them? Thanks.

no where on the mountain that i know of....maybe sheridan or buffalo but im not sure......just got back from there yesterday...it will be good snow for a couple of new guys to get the feel for the hills....have fun

There is no avy gear rentals anywhere out there. You should get it before you go.

No where near Sheridan had beacon rental, depending where you are coming from you might be able to rent some along the way.

Stop by Jaycox Implement in Worthington if you are going out along I 90, they have them and are really good to work with.
