first tree riding video of 2012

I can't help but think how much easier that type of riding is on a Timbersled mountain horse!

You've got balls!!!

Nice Vid! I like the description on the video "Stuck because the track spins on dead fall alot"... This is the excuse I like 'The sun was in my eyes'

Totally messin, but I can't say I'd take my brand new sled out in those conditions...

wow didnt think the assault track would be that bad, sweet first 2012 vid

I got the 2.4 on my Assault. The snow was kinda sugary with no base and every time I really needed traction I would dig to either a dead tree and spin or let off so I didn't hit the ground. Fun day but I'm done till theres about another 4'.

Didn't break anything except the bumper and if I would have known it was made of 1/16 thick aluminum I wouldn't have hit the tree I did. My camera ran out of space just before the tree hit or it would have been good video.

Thanks I didnt make it up there last weekend . tempted as I was . If the report at the resort was 30" or more I was going but only 22" dammmmit!

What kind of camera where you using? Go pro or contour?

Good stuff... Need to get back down to wc again this year.

I learned something watching you ride. Thanks. The times you got "stuck" you let off really quick. You have a great sense of what's happening under your sled. I see how your sticks are just pull on the skis or pop it out of the trench and go. When I sense a stuck I pin it and bury myself trying not to stop. Then I have a big problem so solve. Am I reading that right or just making stuff up?

Ya I learned a long time ago most the time you feel it digging your done so try to get it turned and let off. Sometimes you can feel the track break through a good layer of snow and start sinking, then let off for a sec and itll pop back on top of that good layer and your good. Goosing it works good some times too. Depends on the snow. That day there was no base and I didn't want to tear the crap out of the ground so I let off pretty quick.

If that makes sense
