I gotta agree with some here. I ride snowies and yes we are lucky most years but depends on the snow when your coming out. My vote is bring yours along don't change a thinge but maybe some jetting/clutching and rent a day or two. Compare and have some fun. Renting is expensive. Yes it is windy and the snow gets set up quick so you might be fine on yours.
Happy to hear your coming out and hope you have a blast. Depending when, give me a call and I'll bring mine for a day or so.
got a used 2in challenger, high altitude clutch recommendations, frog skinz. Anything else Ill need sled wise? Drop brackets, remove sway bar? And thanks for the info so far guys, its really helpful!
About the only thing else would be some extra gas. You don't need anything fancy. A 2.5 can is easy enough to strap on. Hopefully you will be riding in deep powder and that burns the fuel fast. But it's darn fun riding.
Since you have room on the trailer bring it anyway! As said above, ride yours and rent. See what the differences are and you can get some time on a true mountain sled. If you plan on purchasing a mountain and riding out west in the future you can at least get the feel of whatever brand they are renting. I see no negative in doing both
i'd bring yours and see if it works for the kind of riding you end up doing. will save you money and time not having to adjust to a new sled. if not then rent one.
