I have been away from sledding for a few years. Just bought a TRX-1 and a new XP 154. Wow how things have changed. The XP is the easiest sled to ride I have ever been on. What an improvement on the rider position and balance of the sled. Not to mention the weight or lack there of.:D
My pops is 78 and went everywhere I was going with not even a hint of trouble. In fact came back to the trailer about 1/2 hour before dark and he said lets go back out?? Go figure.
I was starting to feel it on my old ZX I was ridding and he was not even starting to get a work out on the XP.:o

By the way not one problem with the sled. Had the spring and weights changed on the clutch. No belt wear at all. No marks either. Very happy with the sled so far and highly recommend to anyone that is in the market.

I like mine too. It`s been good to me and I have over 500 miles on it. There should be about 50 jealous guys beating up on you real soon who don`t own a doo, telling you what a bad choice you made.

And thats if just the 146 guys comment, if you get the 154 and the 163 guys posting..........it could get into the 5 to 900 range. ;);)

great to see the elder generation still riding and having fun. Tell him to hang on at about 100 to 125 miles when it wakes up!!!!:D:D:D

I am glad to here it is around 100-125 mi. Someone told me it was closer to 500. That seemed a little excessive.
You can definitely feel everything is tight. Still has that burning all the rubber, plastic and wire new smell.
Thanks for all the comments. I will send my pops to the thread for some encouragement. If he can find it.:D

I'll put it this way. Unless I am up in revy or Cooke I think the pistons might rust to the wall on the TRXton. I am that impressed with the XP so far.
I also talked with the dealer. He has a 146. Last year his two boys were waiting on him every mile of groomed trail. This year with him on the new XP he waits on them. That's got to tell you something. The thing has incredible balance.
I can tell once the thing wakes up I will need to possible change the helix. Maybe a Dynamo-Joe unit?? Have a HPS can comming Friday. That should make for some good video with the old man pulling into camp....:D:D:D
