First Ride at Rabbit Ears?

So when is everyone gonna make their first trip to Rabbit Ears? SNOTEL says 2' at the site. im thinking to wait until at least 4 feet. I also am looking for people to ride with this season as my usual riding buddies are going to be busy most the time. i plan to go most weekends and as many weekdays as i can squeeze in.

Nope, its 2" not 2'.

That's 2 inches not 2'. But I agree with waiting until it gets up closer to 4' of solid base. I rarely think about getting off trail before December. Usually takes that long before the base gets there.

Not to say you won't get lucky and hit a 4' dump just right now and then, but even then your sled is right down their running in the mine field while the pow is coming over the hood.

You should head up there & rip around in that awesome 2"... just be sure to ride right by the road & spit up a bunch of dirt!!!!

hey DogMeat is there decent riding 30mins north of vernal? a good buddy of mine just moved there and we have been camping and dirtbiking in Ashley NF like 30 mins from vernal. just wondering what you opinion of the area was for snowmobiling?

We are doing an openhouse at VOHK nov 5th followed by a fundraiser for caic and csa as well as premiering BOONDOCKERS 8. I am planning on riding the following day and invite anyone else that is interested. Of course it depends on the snow, but I have faith we will be good to go.
