First Polaris - 2025 Kaos 850 - brake sounds like bees.

Just picked this up yesterday, my first polaris. Anyway... Half way through the ride today the brake sounded like bees or an alarm or something. I couldn't tell if it was just them bedding in or if it was some sort of alarm coming from the sled. If I locked the brake up allt he way it stopped was only if i drug it going down a hill or whatever it made this weird angry bee noise lol.

Besides that new sled worked great. ( Coming from Doo/Lynx, still have Lynx but its busted at the moment )

They always buzz like that.

Ok thanks! Too early to call, but I may be converted. I don't like how this thing starts a turn but once its in a turn ( on edge ) it just stays there and I'm not fighting it like my lynx or doo's. Kinda weird to get used to but I'll get used to it.

It overheated once today in the weirdest place ever ( off trail in **** snow up a climb, i was going really slow though )... then was fine the rest of the day.

The poo takes a little more effort to initiate a turn, but once it's on edge, it stays on edge.

You will get used to it if you commit to riding that sled.

I find it a lot easier to go from poo to doo than vice versa.

Polaris seems to respond better to blips. If you're having trouble getting on edge, you may need more throttle

Same here I have a 22 polaris 850 155 and 23 doo turbo r 154 and the polaris is much more predictable to ride, just feel more confident on the machine.

I think the biggest thing with a polaris, is i dont feel like im fighting the bars/skis the whole time im trying to ride it.
Exactly what I'm noticing. I feel like I'm a constant fight with the bars on my Lynx getting jerked around. but not the Poo.

angry bees - i would make sure your track is adjusted to the proper tension and properly aligned and yes keeping it cool is a real challenge with the matryx slash chassis.

for cooling you may want to try 2 sets of scratchers on each rail and a standard snow flap.......kind of like this.

Its actually been quite cool on the trail or when going fast. Putzing around in the trees in crap snow it has overheated a couple times.
