Had a call to the house, looks like a fire on Libby Flats. I can see the smoke out my west windows. Don't know of any more details.

Well get up there and take a look.:face-icon-small-win

Pelzer is up at the lookout at Libby Flats, traffic is being stopped up there right now. He said he could see flames on a direct line from the lookout to corner mtn about 1.5 to 2 miles in the distance.

Talked with the guys down to the fire station, the fire is in the Towner Lake area.

I'm was the one that called it in. I was headed across Libby Flats when I saw the smoke, slammed on the brakes cause I knew I would have some service and called 911. Then raced down to sml as there is a youth group up there right now. Found out they were fishing at Klondike, crap. Hopped back in the truck sped up to Sugarloaf and literally ran back to Klondike to let them know. Helped hurd 20 kids back to a bus, got back to the highway and had a message from a fireman as to the location so I called him back and headed back to the lodge to help them get ready to evac just in case.

The fire wasn't very big and I saw plenty of fire trucks headed that way, praying they're successful in getting it out asap.

The first pull off on the East side of the road where people camp is where it looks like it started, my guess is a campfire, which are illegal right now, wasn't put out all the way last night and got stirred up again this morning.
