Finally got a new phone.

My Startac of 6 years finally died, the radio has been getting real bad. Past few days it wouldn't even get service unless I was right next to the tower. Lowest FER I've seen in the past few days was 38%.

So I upgraded to a Treo 700 today.

I don't expect any of you to really care; this post is just here to raise my post count.

Startac was the first cell phone I ever had ... I even had the booster kit for it in my old truck.

Startac was my first cell phone as well, got it back in 01. I liked that phone, I wish they wouldn't of quit making them. The speaker went out on it, and of course I couldn't get it replaced, I had to replace the phone.

My wife has the windows version of that phone and it is bulletproof. You will be happy with it.

I just got my wife the Blackberry Pearl. I hate that thing. My fingers are to big to work the tiny keyboard. I tried to talk her into the Curve but she said it was too big. Both were free at Car Toys. None of that rebate BS, walk in, transfer to AT&T with no activation charge and walk out the door.
