finally found something just as fun as sleds!

sweet never knew anyone else rode bikes on here. most ppl around alberta got specialized demo's or now the new evil revolts. you guys are lucky you got the slopestyle courses. if you lived closer id say anyone wanna buy my 06 kona howler frame

Quit trying to hang with CJ old man! Looks like an awesome trip. Been racking up seat time here on the rock on my dawg, next year i want to go!

the dirt jump crowd runs hard tails. they get better pop off the lips i guess. you might have seen one of those but other than that it is all 6+ inch bikes. probaby saw more dual crown than single even.

All of the guys at crankwerx were running single's, lots of tailwhips getting thrown!!

I'm rocking a few scott bikes, got a gambler (9.5") for my big bike, and got a voltage FR (7" max, but set up to drop to 4")with a dual crown on front for my toy/ resort bike. Trying to find a totem 2 step or a talas 180 for that bike, so I can hit the resort, but still turn it down & go hit the bike park & jump DJ's.

No hardtails here, those things hurt!

Worst part about winter is that Whistler closes for bikes.

Backcountry, how do you like you voltage FR? I almost bought one but couldn't sell my bottlerocket before they sold out. post up a picture of that thing!

Was there with the family last month, happened to be right during Kokanee Krankworks.... what an awesome time! The nightlife in Whistler was good as ever too!

Love it, the only weakness was the fork. I got the 20 & the domain is pretty 1/2azz. Got a compression damping cartridge coming ($52), that should make it a much more legitimate unit. Right now I have my 888 ATA on it from my gambler, riding low on the stanchions it's a VERY fun jumper. It's a bike that can be a nearly do everything bike, love that about it. The FR with a totem 2 step or the new talas 180 would be an awesome setup.

I got mine from Winter Park resort, they give a pass, a helmet & pads with their higher end bikes, I got all that, plus two new tires, and new brake pads for $1599. Can't ***** about that too much!

I'll shoot a couple pics when it's light out.

nice pics, nice whip. where were those pics taken? i do like the look of snow...

i ride a canfield diggle with a 40. i wanted something a little more boutique when i bought it just to be different. but that cost more money... have about $4500 but i paid cost for all of the parts except for the frame. so to actually build the bike without the discount i would be around 6500 to 7000. who said sledding is the only expensive sport... i'm sure i could have found something that works just as well for a lot less but i have to say i love the bike. i had a **** eating grin the entire time in whistler. the bike definitely did everything i asked, plus some.

ryda, always trying to keep up with cj... actually i was leading when i ate ****. guess that will teach me. glad to hear you are getting some seat time. you're welcome to come next year, we will be going back. probably end of august, beginning of sept again. depends on work as always.

here are a few more pics from the trip. a couple of a pretty ba wall ride, one from the er, and thank god for helmets...
