looking good again now, s/b enough new snow to take to the hills by sat maybe fri before everyone messes up all the new snow, just watch for avalanche areas as way too much freezing rain probably took its toll last week.
36 and raining here. Was up at 5k today and it was raining hard.
Ended up with about 10" of wet, heavy show that has settled down to about 6" now. Still warm and wet.
Rode Blewett today. Light rain & freezing rain most of the day at 6k feet, but they did pick up a foot of fresh snow the day before. Snow was wet and heavy and getting an ice crust as the day went on. Riding was still fun, and coverage was quite good. Now all we need is another storm of light and fluffy snow on this great base.
did better close to home today, ya greenwater,(still waiting for gallager/lk ann to fill in more) met up with 2 guys in parking lot today as it was turning day light 74 miles and they had a great time, started to sprinkle a bit just as we were coming out, going to suck tomarrow unless it dumps snow at park might have to drive over mound as warming up again and some melted by the time we got back at snowpark.
