Finally Complete.......well almost.

I think the tunnel is "wrinkle black" Alpine Motorsports had it in stock and I just went with it. I'm still running the stock A-arms but the Evols are a longer shock. I used Hammer's trick of longer bolts and spacers to shim the tierods and we had to do a little customizing for a good fit. :D End result is more useful travel and a taller front end, matches up with the M10 pretty well.

I have limited time on the sled with the chassis and suspension upgrades but I'm already impressed with the Evols. Huge improvement over the standard floats and I haven't even dialed them in yet. Now we just need more snow so I can see how well that skid is going to work in the steep and deep. :cool:

We had to do a slight amount of grinding on the brackets on the upper A-arm. The shocks also have a lower "Evol Chamber" and there were some minor clearance issues.

Evols are wicked shocks, they just need to make more size options. There pricey, but worth the $$. Get that M-10 to lay down more, looks like its sprung too stiff, those Ohlins can handle a super soft setting without bottoming. Dont let people tell you that the stiffer the spring, the less it wheelies, thats a myth and it greatly reduces the wicked all around ride quality a properly dialed M-10 has on that Apex chassis, they go hand in hand.

Enjoy !

thanks i'm thinking they are 16.5 ctoc.

They are actually closer to 17" c-to-c. The display set I measured at the dealership were 16.75" but when I got my set home they measured out at just about 17".

I'll soften up that M10, it was riding a little stiff the last time out as well. I've got a lot to learn about that skid so any help is appreciated. :beer;
