Fellow SW'er needs a little help....take a look

goinvertical,

You should never be ashamed of all that you have done by yourself and what the purpose of this project is for - your son to be able to share some quality time with his old man doing something they both love. If you need help doing something, there is no shame in it, not one of us is any different. I'm no good with electrical either! :) You should be proud of all that you and your son (and anyone else that has helped out - EricW, IndyDan, etc, :o) have accomplished. There is nothing but admiration from the rest of us SWer's.

I live about 7 hrs from my dad and he is, and always has been, one of my best friends. Everytime I go back home to BC in the winter, I take my sled(s) and we go riding together. He has been sledding since 1971 and can still ride the pants off most of us younger guys (even on the 600 he rides now). He taught me to ride and gave me some of the best experiences and knowledge that he could, a trait that it sounds like you have in common with him.

I wish you all the best on this project, looking forward to the progress updates and hearing about the first ride you and your son share. I would like to know where the benefit ride starts in Canada, and more information about where we can donate, etc.

Sincerely,
NSC.

Sorry the response took so long:o Geezez! I have been busy with sleds and trying to regain or retain health. I only added the "Trans-Montana" ride part because I was kind of looking for a partner...not money. I hope people realize that.:o Anyhow the ride would start north of Eureka, 500 miles later you end at Raynolds Pass, outside West Yellowstone. Its not a race so it will be hard for me to keep 'er reigned in. :) It's just a charity ride to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis Association. I wished it was a race but have always heard how enjoyable it has been,so I have tried a couple times to make it. Never have. :( Yes there are some big costs but I figured it would be worth it. I have some e-mail links that might get you the info you need.
