Curt...

Some questions if you have the time.

What are the plans for the intake air?

What motor is that (I thought it was a 700/730cfi) ???

What crank-cases?

What Crank?

What bore & Type of pistons?

How did you you get the PRO torque arm to fit the motor?

Did you run the 600 cases?

What about the angled throttle body boots?? Are you using the 700/800 size TB's on the 600 Rush Boots mounted to the 700 block?? How did that come together?

I cant wait to see how that Timbersled/Z-broz skid works out... especially with your shock tuning expertise!!

The motor is my idea for the "perfect everyday turbo motor" ! its a stroked 700 cfi with our torque monster dropped cylinder and turbo porting layout-I'm shooting for as much n/a bottom end power as I can get with the 81mm bore to compliment the responsive turbo package from HM turbos.

My plan for intake air is shelving off the pod-venting the crud out of it like we do the IQs and it terminates into a funnel that sits down on top of the turbo when you install the hood-simple and VERY effective! up in the air if it will be done to install for the show....we may have one of our proto c/f Pro hoods there instead of finishing that intake! not enough time for all to get done that we want ya know?

All the meat is there for the torque arm to bolt up-you just have to carefully measure and drill/tap the case for the bracket bolts.

We've also got front pto and mag push/pull stops almost ready for the Pro chassis that we will be releasing next month.

See you at the show! I'll have your side panels with me!

Dang it Eric, you went and added ?'s while I was huntin and peckin...

800 case/crank ish, custom piston-forged and built to our spec.

I'm pumped to try the t-sled as well-excited to see how it performs with the new shocks!

800 t-body with Rush angled boots fit like a glove-Slight mods to HM turbos t-body retaining brackets to hold it all together. You could use the IQ boots believe it or not but you would have to flip the TPS over to get the connector off of the bulk head. Its a nicer transition to the intercooler with the angled boots so I went that route.

Curt looks great, now lets get darren to pick that one up and i'll buy his.
Can't wait to see it this weekend.

finally got Project Pro on the scales and I have to admit...I'm satisfied by the results!

439 lbs dry with the only fluid in it being the brake fluid. Thats with all stock body panels , 4130 front bumper and stock gutted hood. we are lacking the carbon fiber intake plenum which will add a pound or two but then again...should be fitting up our first Pro carbon fiber hood tomorrow which will knock off several more pounds over the stock gutted hood.

at this point, I'm confident enough to say that we can definitely build 163 pro chassis turbos that are hell for strong and under 440# ...easy!

Add some lighter a-arms, lighter hood and side panels and knock off a bunch more weight....

Curt

that is sweet! turbo'd under 440#'s it just keeps getting and better, the ol' dragon might have to take the back seat in the shop to a pro next year...

Pumped to see it..coming right up. So VERY VERY COOL. I love the "PHEW" or what I call "WTF was I thinking?" look photo..feel like that daily!

Loading up for the Puyallup show--come see us if you are in the area!

got our first Carbon fiber Pro hood out of the mold yesterday and it came out great-will get pics up at the beginning of the week!

See you in an hour or so Rob!

Curt

and it would have been done sometime in January...makes sense to me!:face-icon-small-dis

considering we are one of the few shops that has our Pro chassis parts developed and already selling out...I think we made the right decision!:face-icon-small-coo
