fastest over all linderman 1720 tripple on noz
2 glen hall on d&d 1200 turbo
3 Jerad Sessions on D&D 1200 with db turbo ( glens other sled)
fastest 4 stroke Russ Stevens on titainium apex ( this sled was fast but could not get the power centered)
fastest m 1000 with turbo was travis bairds (pure logic)
mine was #2
fastest 2 stroke with n2o was jeremy on his 800 pol, under 1000 cc
just for the record this is Glens first year at fairview and on a turbo he is the fastest turbo I ever seen If Brent dont step it up next year Glen will win, also Glen mountain sleds do not have picks!! so please dont bring them next year
( safety reasons ) if some one caugh one of those in the chest with your track speed it would hurt.

Great day guys a lot of fast sleds and great people thanks to all that came

So did you have to create a class for Jeremy because his 800 beat your 1000? I thought those mitsu's were junk according you???

Wow, what a great event! First I would like to thank all the riders who make this outlaw event so cool! There were some wicked fast sleds this year and lots of them really close! In the end Brent Linderman came out on top, by the hair on his knuckles! Thanks to Glen for bringing out his D&D 1200 with a Boondocker turbo, this sled is bad azz! This is the sled that won Haydays and he also drag races it on the asphalt going 8.60's at over 160 MPH!
He also drove it back to the main race bowl, lowered down with hardly any suspension....nice! He also had another 1200 D&D M1000 powered by a Boondocker turbo with Jerrod Sessions piloting it. I thought this was going to be the sled to beat as it was first quite a few times. Russ Stevens piloting the turbo'd Diamond S titanium RX1 was unreal winning tons of races over and over. But in the end, Linderman cranked up what little nitrous he had left and pulled out a couple of wins to crown him this years winner!

The new parking lot on top was awesome! The Forest Service and the state of Utah and everyone else that helped make this possible deserve a big thank you for this one!

Look for some great coverage of this event with rider interviews, sled talk and race action in Mountain Mod Mania 6 coming at you this fall!

every year someone tells Brent to step it up and every year he wins.
i dont think in that short of a pull that a 4 stroker even with NOS can beat him, as proven every year for 6 years, since Clawson won (on a 2-stroke).

Fairview!!! The bragging and bull**** are almost as much fun as the riding. that said, a lot of people put a lot of effort and $ into their equipment for events like this so maybe a bit of organization would be a good idea. Just a thought. It's a full year away. Put an end to the self inflicted greatness and settle it all with real winners and times etc. Just my .02 heck, I can't even ride until next year and missed the fun by laying on the couch Post op! knee surgery sucks. I should have gotten hurt on a sled but NO.. I skied because my sled went down agAIN....large suck. Some others I know skipped Fairview and rode mid winter pow all weekend. lucky bastages!!!!

Yes…it is an external waste gate at low elevations in cold weather it takes a bigger waste gate to keep the boost from creeping up higher then you want. That’s Glenn Hall, he’s from Wisconsin. The sled is a D&D 1200 with a Boondocker turbo in a fire cat chassis. It runs 8.34 sec. @ 162 mph in ¼ mile on the asphalt, and won on the grass at Haydays last year running 500 ft. in 4.34 sec. @ 120 mph.

I thought you were staying a few extra days? anyway also just wanted to add that the parking lots on top were 1000 times better this year! Very nice setup on top of the mountain!

And the ti tube turbo nytro of scotts was unreal in the backcountry and ran hard all weekend long!

I am not the offical ,I was just relay what the racers told me after they would come down the hill , and yes jeremy did beat me he was in the top 6 but there were no dragons even close to my 1000 so who ever you are you have me confused with some one eles.

I would like to know what backcountry you guys were riding?? I am still amazed that you can have that many people at Fairview and no one rides. I can only say thanks for leaving all the good riding!! Maybe people are just afraid of the trees ;)

Yup, to think that close to race bowl and we had all that untracked snow to ourselves.

It wasn't hard to find your way to race bowl though... friggin' highway pounded through the bowls from the trucks.

Rockstar... they said they were going to go ride powder, but I think they just Sallied out (you knew I would have to make a comment about Sallies).

At least my group kept our streak in tact... another Fairview shootout, another 800 Polaris crank broken.

Curious was this a Aero 66, Garrett, or neither?

Glen uses that external waste gate because when he put that together garett did not have a houseing with one in it , now they do ,but on the other hand to run pump gas the waste gate in the housing will make 10#s wired open, so you will need an external wastegate to turn the boost down,

Good points and ideas! And....the POW was GREAT!!! :D

This thread has been interesting....at best! If racing sleds is about being a$$holes to each other I'm glad I'm not part of it. Telling me to "nut up" for saying something like this earlier in this thread was laughable! I've been involved with sports and athletics most of my life....respecting your opponent was one of the first things I was taught! I have sat back while I watch Shain getting ripped on. His responses, at least in this thread, haven't ripped on anyone as far as I can tell, but were defensive. I consider many of you personal friends, hopefully you will still consider me yours' after this post. Please give each other a break and chill out a bit! I think we need to used this testosterone aggression to protect the longevity of this sport so our kids can enjoy it, not beating each other up over who said what or who is fastest! My 2 bits!

My hat is off to those who build big hp sleds and race them. I respect anyone who has passion for the positive things in which they are involved!
