That is a great vid of some extreme jet boating, thanks IDAHDOO. What river is the SF? Tried googling and couldn't find it.

Man that is INSANE!!! How much do those boats cost to build?

They have to carry some big speed going back down....or do they run in reverse;)

OK, driven up that river many times, never seen jet boats up there. Since it's the SF, how far up can they go? All the way to Lowman? That one shot looke like the NF just above banks, on the stair case. Didn't know you could physically even run that. Very cool though.

Rafts for traction.

they run anywhere from 30 to 100 grand no you run in forward jets don't have any steering with no throttle reverse is for getting it off the trailer and emergency stops :D

thanks. Guess I better start saving pennies, course I don't think MN has rivers like that so I guess I'll just spend it on beer.

I was trying to stir some chit up with the reverse deal...like coming down a hill in reverse;)

That is the coolest thing I've ever seen...huge skill to run that in a jet boat. Chit, I grew up kayaking the canyon and it's a tough section to boat....can't believe you took a jet boat up it. Is that a first ascent or am I a bit behind....never heard of anyone running that section. That's HUGE! 4000? 5000 CFS? Awesome dude!
