Extra Gas

theres always one guy with them on ebay...$25 i think

dealer should have therm for about the same price.....2.5 gallon can with straps

Im another believer of the trail tank, never have to worry about stopping and pouring gas in. Windy, snowy, nasty day you wont have to go hide under a tree to try and keep getting a bunch of snow or ice in your tank. just fuel in the morning and ride all day no hassle!

P.S. I have a Trail Tank on my 09 D8 and riding deep snow all day alongside a 12 pro piped etc, the pro never ran out of fuel, and I was dang close. The pro is way more fuel efficient than the older sleds. But if you do find yourself in need of extra fuel go trail tank IMO.

my sled came with the HRP rack and can on it. i doubt i'll ever use the gas can for extra gas but now i have a cool rack to put a bag in. if I know i'm going on an extra long ride, then i can use it for my gas can.

I carry the extra fuel for insurance. If there is some sort of emergency I have options. In 4 years I have never had to use it even on a TM8.

I use a briggs and straton brand can on a machined alum rack. This way I can carry other things besides fuel cans and am not tied to one brand fuel can.

Does anyone have a good source to purchase the can for the standard polaris pro rack system?

Got mine from TSC. Identical to the ones on ebay. I forgot how much it was but it was quite a bit cheaper than other ones I found.
