I have the speedwerx ceramic coated exhaust on my 1100 turbo. It gets too hot melted my side panel. Just wondering what other exhaust everyone is running and not melting side panels. Also had vents on the panel.

Had that same exhaust and did the same thing to mine. I'm running the full Evo 2.5 inch exhaust along with the bc275 kit and no melting problems.

One more thing is that I like the sound of the spperdwerx muffler and dont want it to be loud. Are the Evo setup or other setups a lot louder. I have the 215 Evo flash and also pretty much everything else evo on it.
And does anyone want to buy a Speedwerx muffler:face-icon-small-hap

I have the quieter one from Evo and it's got a good sound not too loud but has a good tone. I like the sound better than the speedwerx one.

I put a 3inch straight stainless pipe on that I found on this forum from
a guy in Canada. No heat issues at all and sounds amazing. Cheap too. Build quality spot on.

I have all EVO goodies and Running the (215):face-icon-small-coo
Spanking turbo 800 XM and Pro 800's running 15psi boost-

The EVO can is good ( quiet one) the up pipe does gets hot ( blue) and tweaked my Cat vented side panels just a bit. even after adding some reflective heat tape.
Going to put some header wrap on this from Summit Racing to assist fix

The vented panels from cat work awsume:heh:- good for the money...

What was the company that was selling the straight pipe or some with a small muffler. I found the thread a few weeks ago but can not find it now
