Evol advice

I have a 2013 Ltd m1100 turbo 162. I currently have an evol Magnum exhaust. I am planning to start with the intake elbow and BRV. The next move is the stock turbo multi map with launch control. I am looking for reliable power. I have a couple of questions and I hope to get some input. 1) how will the programing effect the fuel economy as I have to run 20 miles in and out to where I ride? I hate to carry gas. 2) what clutching changes do you recommend? Primary, best adjustable weights, etc. Secondary, team or stock mods etc. Any other advice would be great.

Depends on your thumb...

I can get 85 miles to a tank with a Big Chute 280 kit - this is with a C3 carbon tank that holds about 10 US gallons, and I'm not that easy on the throttle. You would probably fall somewhere between stock and this. Personally, I pack fuel - nothing worse then cutting your day short due to low fuel level.
Evo has a very good custom helix for the Team Tied they sell - you may want to contact them for primary weight recommendations. I'm running 92g (tip heavy) with Rooster weights this year. Last year I had MDS weights and ran a polaris gold 100/275 spring, but found engagement to be too abrupt for my liking - the big $s has a bunch of torque off bottom & doesn't need a hard engagement, especially in the trees.

Topo I hate to carry fuel too. On a ride like you are describing I would stop at the end of the 20 mile rode ride and dump a gallon or so into your tank if you think you will need it to get a full day in. Leave enough in the can to get you back to the truck. That way you aren't hauling any more weight in the fun zone.:face-icon-small-ton. I also dump the gas in the tank before the ride out so I can ride faster on the trail with less weight on the tunnel. These 1100s are pretty efficient on part throttle too. I can run 40MPH down the trail with the throttle just cracked and i do that if I think I am coming up short on fuel. The 1100 doesn't tow very well so I never want to run out of gas in the back country.

trail tank

trail tank..........

i pick my sled up today with the new trail tank installed..

it is 13 gallon (2+ gallon added capacity) capacity and around 4-5lbs lighter than stock tank....
i usually haul around gas too, but not anymore, the added fuel capacity is going to be awesome.

i should have sled home tonight and get some pics and post....
