ya it was a fun day, you should have followed us. we got a bit of carnage.(wasn't me) but I know that you don't let a turbo apex try to push you to go up something. the sled got stuck in a sh!tty spot. and learned if you tie your sled off to a tree so it won't tumble down a hill make sure you have the slack out of it and it is very strong rope. the sled was only 420pds but it snapped the rope and barely missed one of the guys eyes. just above it across his eyebrow. wasn't pretty but was lucky

LOL did Todd cause some havok up there ? ya boost takes u to places others shouldnt try to go LOL sorry to here of the carnage but thats what happens somtimes . had my fair share of over the bars ridding yesterday LOL

That's the most sleds I've ever seen there, thought there was some sort of poker run or something. Usually have most of it to ourselves!

Yes there were a lot of people there. We spent the weekend up there in the campers. Had a blast riding. Lot of big hills if you take time to fine them.

Almost went up there for Van Epps---Glad we did'nt go---went somewhere else and had to do the same--head back to get away from the large groups there as well.

A little snow flies and they come out of the woodwork--LOL

H20SKE...

we were up there today.. all the way to the end of the road snopark.. 1st time there, i got the grand tour by some new friends, i can't thank em enough.. i think we went to 5 or 6 different zones, taking your time to find the big bowls and goods was key, for this newb tho, i almost crapped myself a few times but still made it out, no damage..

Was up there Saturday too. I was hoping for more fresh, but made doo anyways. Anyone know the story behind the busted up Apex near Hawkins?

I missed ALL the carnage!

I knew by leaving early, we were going to miss something! ;) Glad to hear everyone is "relatively" alright. Heard the "snapping strap" story this morning...pretty scary. I guess I'm not so paranoid; always leave my lid and goggles on in those situations :D

on sunday there were still all kinds of zone with fresh lines to be had..
here's a couple pics from sunday up there..

did some snomoboarding.. all the lines up lookers right in that meadow and the tight chute straight up were board lines. fun area for riding in for sure

oneshotcrew,

Did you guys have a board with no bindings, just a rope on it? Saw a guy come down a hill on one up there on Sunday. Looked pretty cool.

yup, that was most likely us.. thats called a no board.. no bindings.. pretty fun stuff.. which section was that? cuz early in the day we were in one zone riding boards alot more, then later in the day i think around 4pm we were in another bowl and some of the guys did a few more runs.. what time in the day was it? and what were u riding ruffy?

It was a little after noon, in a big bowl. Saw people being dropped (looked like dumped from down at the bottom) up the bowl, then they were sidehilling over to lookers left and dropping down there. I couldn't figure out how they were getting off the sled without sliding down the hill.

I was on a blue nytro and riding with a rev. Went up to check it out and all were saw were sleds and packs, and another group lookers right of the spot.

Looked like fun, though there were quite a bit of wet slides there. Buddy knocked one off a little later down in the trees. Got some pics of where I am talking about that I can post tonight.

Yeah ruffy, that was for surely us.. we knocked out a 100yrd slab, about a foot deep up lookers right in that bowl 1st thing, from some sled climbs.. after seeing it slowed down fast and was just kinda sluffy, we started tandem rides up to the middle of the bowl. yes, u rally up holding your board, then jump off right as the sled makes turn to turn downhill.. u gotta be on it and grip in quick so u dont slide down.. then strap in the board and ride over to the shred lines.. its lots of fun!

ha ha ha ha, this world is too freaking small. Glad you guys had a good time and stayed safe.

Yeah I saw you guys near ann it looked like you were having some fun with those boards on your back. Your whole crew had nice sleds and nice boards...perhaps some money amongst that group???
