Ever pull a muscle?

i took the butt end of a hockey stick to the sternum 4 weeks ago. Couldnt breath for about 48 hours and it still doesnt feel right. Had to leave game.

for pulled muscles i go with Aleve and stretching and excercise to strengthen the muscle. Also need to rest it.

Ya I pulled my back muscle Diggin out a Ski-doo and I couldn't really ride that hard cause it hurt pretty bad!!

I had similar in high school. First started coughing and couldn't shake it. Then at the bottom of the cough would feel like an arrow jabbing me in the back. Went to do and had a cloud over one area of my left lung and determined he said I had a tough of what was called Pluracy. Anyway I had pnemonia 3 out of 5 years after that until I learned to bundle up in the early season. Still have that scar tissue in my lung. Just had my big 35 physicall last year and warned the doc that he would see it on my xray and sure enough it was there.

so did your shoulder go back in during that weeks time?

I think it went in and out when I crashed. Just going by what the dr. said. I do know that I couldn't move my arm above shoulder level for about a month and couldn't do my normal routine at the gym for about 6 months.

I pulled a muscle in my chest once, it sucked! I couldn't sleep laying down for like a week. I went to a doctor who just scratched her head and said " I don't know, let me send you to a specialist". So then I'm sitting in a room getting an ultrasound on my heart and the two nurses say " your too young to be getting this done, normally we only do this on like 80 year old dudes". I'm like thanks.... that makes me feel really good. Anyway, turned out to be a pulled muscle and my heart was fine. I didn't trust lifting heavy things for months after that though.
