ETHANOL!

So, the 2 gas stations in Rexburg that we could always count on being Ethanol free just put up their 10% Ethanol stickers. Pretty frustrating... Anybody know anywhere else in Rexburg that doesn't use Ethanol? I can't think of any anymore. I would think that one of these stations would stay Ethanol Free just for all the business they'd get from people filling sleds.

Did Call's Sinclair change?

They have had on their sign that they have Ethanol Free.
Also ask if the Premium has Ethanol. Some of the places have stickers saying Premium is Ethanol free.

Which stations were you getting fuel at?

CALL SINCLAIR FEthanol Free

Just talked to the owner. He said that they will indefinitely be selling Ethanol FREE fuel. Sinclair has some exemption that they can get the good stuff and will indefinitely.

The only disclaimer he had was that it is up to the station owner and he hates the Ethanol stuff. So check the Sinclair stations they should be able to get the GOOD stuff.

ethanol

:face-icon-small-frodont know if this true or not but i talked to one of the employees at the 66 in shelley she said that after the first of the year all fuel in idaho is required to have ethanol. the owner told her that the fuel is gonna come to then with the ethanol already in it. this is gonna suck if its true. can anyone else confirm this?

Thanks for the heads up on Calls Sinclair. I've never even thought of trying there. Looks like that's going to have to be our new spot. The only down side is that the parking lot is so small. Could make for a crowded spot Saturday Mornings.

Both Rays Chevron and Valleywide (Valleywide I think is the most popular place around to fuel up on the way to IP) have recently put up signs saying they now have ethanol. I didn't check if that included premium. I just assumed that it did as the pumps now have big stickers saying "Contains 10% Ethanol"

Unless they've recently changed, Brads Sinclair in Sugar City has ethanol free premium gas. Great little store, really friendly but not a lot of parking room.

The CoOp is ALL Ethanol. I checked and started looking at all of the stations.
Most all of em said Yes January 1st they will have Ethanol.

CALL'S SINCLAIR will not. Yes the fuel island is small but still doable even with a 4 place. May want fuel on Friday night and avoid the rush.

Ethanol

I talked to the fuel delivery driver at Costco last week in Boise and he said that all stations in Idaho are supposed to have at least 10% Ethanol in 2012. I hope it's not true:face-icon-small-fro. He did say he hates Ethanol but he gets paid to haul the stuff.

I heard the same thing today from a friend in the know. This appears to just be an "Idaho thing" at this point. I am doing some research and if this turns out to be something i can verify, i will post the information on here.

Cheers!

If you're willing to spend a little more for your sled gas, just stop in the Rexburg airport. I get all my sled gas there, and Craig, the FBO operator is always more than happy to sell it to me, he might even have the new card reader operational by now. At least with Avgas you know for sure what your buying.

I just need to get a Power Addiction head first. Then I'll be back out there filling up again.

Kind of enjoying being able to run pump has for awhile. First sled in a long while that didn't need av or racegas
