Enclosed Trailer Seat

I am looking to see if there would be intrest in people purchasing seats for their enclosed trailer and also just general what do you think? I have built a few of these and have them in my and my riding buddies trailers and am concidering fanufaturing if there is an intrest. I am not selling these at this time.

The seat in the pic's is 32" wide I have also made seats 48"wide the otside angles are 29" long and mounting is on 16" centers so I thin k it could adapt for the E track, I live in Montana so that may give you an idea on shipping weight is only about 20lbs.

I will get some better measurments on my trailer next week when i hope to go out to wy. Not much snow but got things to do on sleds. PM me with a number and good time to call you. I have been carrying 2 card table chairs mounted to side of my trailer. Its nice to sit sometimes when one gets old and have a beer belly so one do not tip over when tieing boots.Good luck with all your plans. If i may ask what is your back ground. I allways like to hear how people get started in things.

So to answer a few of your questions! The 48" seat weights about 30 lb's with packaging and the 32" seat 25 lb's with packaging, to ship from Montana to Detroit would be about 40 $ so you have and idea.
The 32" seats will be a little over 300.00 $ and the 48" seats a little over 350.00 $.
Hope this answers a few of your questions.
We did di a test on a 48" seat installed and it held 550 lb's no problem.

Whether they are worth it or not, I'm not spending hundreds on a bench that Will be used for 5 minutes at a time. We are going the $17 per bracket and some plywood route.

For comparison Mirage sells one similar to yours for $199.00. Theirs is all aluminum and the seat is not padded. Take that for what its worth.

Thank's guys for the feed back on the pricing, I have been trying to keep these 100% american made but I may have to go with the oversea's route to get pricing down, I do appriciate the comments and I wnat these to be functional and priced right.

I am going to look at the option for no gas shocks on the seats which would drop the price a bunch. Thank's to all that gave feedback it is what I was looking for so I can get out a product that people will want!
