Best Trailer Manufacturers for Durability and Value?

Hello everyone.

I'm in the market for a new trailer and want something that balances durability, quality, and price. There are so many manufacturers out there—Big Tex, PJ, Load Trail, Diamond C, etc.—that it’s hard to know which ones hold up best over time.

I’m looking for real-world feedback from owners who have put their trailers through tough conditions. Which brands have given you the best experience in terms of build quality, longevity, and ease of maintenance?

Also, are there any specific features or upgrades worth investing in?

Appreciate any recommendations or insights!

Open or enclosed?
What are you planning to haul, and in what conditions?
What are you pulling it with?

We started stopping by the coin op car wash very trip if the roads had moisture on them. Quick rise of outside and underneath. Takes 10-15 min and the trailer is looking good 5 years in.
amazing what a little bit of PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE can do for you!

I use a semi truck wash facility when the storms clear or every so often.
My 34’ trailer costs me $40 to wash and apply salt neutralizer including roof and undercarriage.
