Elk and Deer Hunters

Some of the deer over the years. Dont have in these pictures the whitetails or the Elk heads. Got a typical whitetail that scores 171" but cant find the picture . Anyways, my brother's, dad's, and my deer heads from over the years.

These are only about 1/3rd of them, We ran out of wall space so we pretty much just keep all the rest of the heads at the shop have close to 40 deer heads over the last 18 years of hunting, most of them on that wall are the very first. Dont have one below 25" Will have a nice shoulder mounted stag comming in around June Ill get pictures of the rest one of these days... just some of the few I have on my harddrive

Looks good nate! thats an impressive collection! beats my family's as far as numbers. we got 2 official B&C, and 4 180 plus, but not near the total number of big bucks you guys got. Draw any tags this year? I am on a roll so far!

We just dont have the genetics like you guys have. We are trying to manage the best we can but its very difficult. We have alot of bucks and bulls and what not, but they always lack in 1 or 2 categories. Well have a massive spread but no girth. A non typical but he's only 26". A decent 5x5 with a broken tip here and there and 1 eye guard smaller than the others. Were working on it though. I got a stag this year he's sweet

as far as drawing....well.....I dont even put in for most stuff. I can get everything on our land from Antelope, both whitetail and muley, elk, mountain lion, bighorn sheep, and just about every predetor.

So no I dont put in normally, I did this year on elk for a party just for shhitsngiggles though im going for a distance shot this year

I have not seen one come out of this area like that in a looong time

Problem is there are too many hunters putting stress on them, shooting alot of 3-4 year old bucks, not even getting matured. Hard for ranchers to turn down guys who have $4000 up front to shoot a deer.

Maybe for a muley, but a 170 typical whitetail, is probably like a 195 typical mule deer. look at my buck i have posted earlier in this post, the one mounted. That is about the eqivalent to this whitetail in mule deer standards. Look at the tine lenght and eyegaurds nate's buck has! gorgeous mount too!

First picture is 2 archery elk, one on utah LE unit, and left one on Idaho gen. both over 340"
