Edge RMK sway bar needed

All, thanks for taking a look. I need a 9/16" sway bar for an '02 Edge RMK. It's the same in all RMKs from '02-'04 except for the '03 Escape.

If anyone has one, drop me a note or give me a call... 801.577.6444

Thanks!

No, you really don't need the sway bar. I am so much happier with my sled since I cut that waste of 4 pounds out of it.

No, I really do. I've tried running every sled I've ever owned without the sway bar... I don't like the wallowing of Gen II, Edge or IQ RMKs without the sway bar. And I don't have any problems turning it, sidehilling it, or generally boondocking it with the sway bar in.

I know others like them out, but I don't.

Pretty funny when a newb with 6 posts tries to tell someone like sled_guy what he wants.

Nah, to each his own... I appreciate all input. I'm fat so turning a sled with a swaybar has never been a problem. :)

I've got a brother in law with an edge, he also happens to be considering removing his. If you've got a good way to get one out in one piece, then your more than welcome to it.

I'm just down the road from you, I can drop it off as soon as I pull it.

Drill the 3 rivets out of both the bushings in the bulkhead that the sway bar goes through and pop those plastic bushings out. Now take 1 trailing arm back mount bolt out of the tunnel which will allow you to swing the trailing arm out and the end of the sway bar will fall out of the trailing arm.

Pull the sway bar out that side, rotating it 1/4 turn to get it to clear the inside of the bulkhead.

It would be great if you did have it, haven't found one yet.

Heck, if the sled is on your trailer just bring the whole thing over to my place and I'll pull it out.
