EcoBoost vs. 6.0L Chevy 2500 Towing competition

2014 GMC Sierra 1500 w/ 6.2L gets my vote! But you have to wait until late summer to get it. Interior is sweet and the cab room does improve. I'm with everyone else on the price though. My '11 Denali Duramax isn't that much more than a loaded out half ton.

The GM 6.2 is a great motor, but not a great puller.
It loves rpm with any load at all.
I would still like one since my pulling is less than 5% of my driving.
Just don't expect effortless towing like an ecoboost.

Hopefully GM, Dodge, Toyo & Nissan will copy Ford on this one.
